Moved Premises

This week we have said a sad goodbye to our shop come warehouse at 27 Summerside Place. The DGS office team will work mainly from home from this week. We have very much enjoyed our time at Summerside Place and we will miss our customers visiting from time to time. We are however still open for business as usual. Our engineers are still out on the road and the office (albiet from our homes) remains open Monday to Friday 9am-5pm. If you are having trouble with your boiler then this is considered an essential job so please do give us a call or email. However, while the country is in effective lockdown we are sad to say will be delaying all non essential work such as servicing and other jobs that can wait until this crisis is over.  This is inline with the official government guidelines to only carry out essential work and to encourage us all to stay at home. Essential work includes boiler repairs, gas and water-leaks and or any gas appliance that you feel is unsafe.  Any other work we are asking to reschedule and we hope you understand this is to keep us all safe.Please note that SGN is also continuing their emergency service so if you smell gas and are all worried you can also phone them on 0800 111 999. What to do if you need a boiler repairIf you have a problem with your boiler the best way to contact us is by phoning 0131 553 2599. DGS – Business as Normal (well as normal as we can be given the world at the moment!) Our engineers are still working and healthy so if you are in need of our services please do give us a call.   However, given the need to travel from house to house we have taken the following precautions to safeguard you, our engineers and the general population therefore before and after visiting your property our engineers will – Ask you to confirm you or anyone in your house don’t have any flu or coronavirus type symptoms and are self isolating.  Our engineers are carrying gloves, antibacterial spray & wipes, hand soap and hand gel and they will:Wear a mask while in your propertyGel or wash hands before entering and leaving your property. Ask you to try and give them 2 meters space to carry out the job.   Ask you to call us if you develop any symptoms within 5 days of us being there. We will of course let you know if one of our engineers develops any symptoms.
